Phenomenal piece. Each time I think Allred can't top himself, he goes and does something like this.
If he's having fun, there's no stopping him.
He's a shooting star leaping through the sky
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity
He's a racing car passing by like Lady Godiva
Allred's gonna go, go, go
There's no stopping him
He's burnin' through the sky, yeah
200 degrees
That's why they call him Doc Fahrenheit
He's drawing at the speed of light
He wanna make a supersonic man out of you
Brilliant work!!!
I love seeing music and illustration mixed together, very cool!
Allred uses his Red Rocket 7 discography experience to bring this heavenly choir of legends for the concert that awaits on the other side.
Great concept....Great title.
Fantastic
Good heavens... (quite literally...) Talk about the music of the spheres. A fantastic commission idea, M L, knocked out of the park (waaaaaay out) by the always terrific Mike Allred. A great one to wrap up your NYCC experience with. Beautiful - congrats!
Who's gonna give Bono the bad news? Not it!!! Man, Allred really put in some effort here. The composition is great, and I love the included details for each musician. And as crisp as a published piece. Sweet score. Congrats!
I said it before and I'll say it again here - this piece is a just a home run melding of artist and subject(s). I would never have thought of it myself but Allred has such a great ability to do likenesses without ever losing his style. Not a superhero in sight and I'm still jealous of this piece. Congrats, bud!
Digging this lots, man. Allred's style flat out works for the poets here. LOVE that Freddie. RIP to 'em all. Congrats!
Allred's style is perfect for this commission! Such a lovely cast. So much life in this piece. Thanks for sharing my friend.
