Wonderful robot design! Reminds me of one of the larger paintings (if memory serves) --- is this a prelim or just a whimsical piece?

Hale has done a great many robot designed over the years. An evolution really. These latest we're done for a couple as of yet, unannounced projects, including a potential game and some other things. He has really been working at the overall design aesthetics,l of the robots, and getting very much into the nuts and bolts of things the last 3 or 4 years.
A few of the recent Badhair painting studies and promo images have been based around these designs. That was the origin of these particular drawings. I don't think I'm letting anything too earth shattering out of the bag by saying Phil has been tinkering with an entire book based entirely around the robot drawings. It may be years yet before it sees release. He may decide to not do it after all, if he gets to the end and decides against it. Hard to say. But it is in the works, and has been for a bit.

Thanks for the info! More projects and books to look forward to!
