Shadowhawk vol. 1 #4 page 20 by Jim Valentino and Chance Wolf (1992)

This is a cool page from the original Shadowhawk miniseries from 1992! Pencils by Jim and inks by Chance Wolf. While Shadowhawk wasn't ever one of my absolute favorite early Image books I definitely read it and bought it for the first couple years. So I have needed some Valentino Shadowhawk in my collection for years and it feels good to finally get a few decent ones to scratch the itch. So while I have been helping Chance sell off the rest of his old artwork, I picked out 3 winners for myself. I am a big fan of panel pages as that is there the storytelling really comes into play. Anyone can do a splash or cover image, but telling a story if a different matter. So comic art is all about that panel work.
