DescriptionBy far my favorite pick up from this year's NYCC. Age of Apocalypse was a huge event for comic readers in the 90s, especially if you are a X-Men fan like I was. X-Men Chronicles #1 was technically the first story in the AOA timeline and here Weapon X is introduced in the story for the first time and he still has both hands! A huge bonus was meeting Klaus Janson and picking this up in person and having him sign it. It was the cherry on top of a fun convention!Social/Sharing |

Ah, been waiting for you to post this one. Thanks for sharing the great story behind getting this page during our lunch. It's obvious that the Art Gods deemed it was meant to be yours.

Haha, nothing beats getting a page you read as a kid!

Claws out and heads off, as he does. I've been seeing some AoA art posted recently, and it makes me happy. I'm Of A Certain Age to remember this series well. :) What a great page, with such a nice introduction layout for that excellent Weapon X panel. And the pencils and inks are really smooth, as you'd expect from this duo. Nice con score. Congrats!

Thanks J! It always makes me happy to see other members post art I've read as a kid as well. Janson's inks really shine on this page!
