Description
Two X-Men eras collide as Len Wein & Dave Cockrum's teleporting titan, Nightcrawler, faces off against Chris Clalremont & John Byrne's adorable assassin, Arcade, in a brawl for the "Iron" Throne, brought to you in the Mighty Marvel Manner by "Exciting" Ethan Young!

I've always loved the X-Men's confrontations with Arcade. He's silly and flamboyant and Murderworld is Marvel's ridiculously dangerous answer to West World, but always a joy so when I threw some character options at Ethan, he was immediately drawn to this pairing, being a fellow X-Men fan himself.

If you aren't familiar with Ethan's work, he's been making a mark as a cover artist for such titles as The Walking Dead, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Usagi Yojimbo, Stranger Things, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Ronin Island, Eve, Terminator, Department of Truth and Something Is Killing The Children.

You can see more of his work at his website here (https://www.youngillustrations.com) and even commission him yourself! I highly recommend him!

Always fun to see our favorite mutant "elf" on one of your throne commissions.  Perfect choice of character to run the Murderworld gauntlet.

Nightcrawler is a critique of unethical media practices and consumer appetite for clickbait headlines over substance.  Gyllenhaal's Lou Bloom represents the flashy attention craving individuals that try to distract you on misinformation through social media and take you away from the true subject at hand.  I mean the guy didn't even bother to put on the blue makeup, much less have a tail in the movie.

Fantastic work from Ethan! And I, also, always loved those old Arcade stories.
