Captain America Annual #9 p17 (1990) Jim Valentino / Sam De La Rosa

This page is part of a multi-page battle between Captain America and Iron Man. On the previous page Iron Man blasts the copter that is crashing in the first panel. And that last panel shows Cap confronting a controlled Iron Man who is about to fire upon him again. Pencils by Jim Valentino of Image fame.

This artboard is a slightly oversized 17 1/2" x 11 1/2" and wouldn't fit on the flatbed of my scanner entirely so one scan shows the top of the page and the other scan shows the bottom of the page.

Page is in overall very good condition showing normal wear from its age and handling. Artboard is off-white with some light yellowing and shows wear on its corners and edges. White-out and blue pencil was used as part of the creative process. There is a long piece of white tape in left margin from half way down the page to the bottom. The page number at the bottom is a paste-on secured in place by a piece of tape. There is a light 3 1/2" crease on the right corner bottom. On the back of the page at the top right is a small coffee drip blotch of about 1/2" x 1/2".
