DescriptionPastel on illustration board of a classic, American beauty. You may recognize this piece as having been in George Hagenauer's gallery before he sold it to me. This image was used as the cover art for the March, 1945 issue of Complete Love, a romance pulp. As you can see, the printed version is relatively faded and carries a greener hue than the original pastel. It is unsigned, and the magazine offers no information on the artist's identity.Social/Sharing |

It's a shame the artist is unidentified, but unlike the comics industry, this was far more common than not. But all that matters is that it's a very beautiful, high level, pinup pulp cover!
