Looking more like it was crafted in 1940 rather than 1970, the ink and imagery on this page is pure eye candy. The art first drew me in but I put a great deal of value on the story, as I think we should. After all, this is narrative art, right? The narration and building tension of each panel playing out is superb, right down to the moment we realize an alien (good one) picks up a primitive Earthly weapon, and kills his own kind (bad one) to save the humans. This is a powerful page!
