Description

Sometimes I get story ideas, or image ideas, and they get stuck in my head. I've taken to writing them down in a file on my phone, so I don't forget them while I find the perfect artist to draw them. I saw a fantastic piece that Chris Batista did featuring practically everyone against Galactus, and I knew he was the guy. So here's the story:

Sinestro is flying around the universe, when he gets sucked through a wormhole into the Marvel Universe. As he's exploring this new environment he comes across Galactus and his herald Terrax as Galactus is consuming a planet. As he's watching, he realizes Galactus is the perfect weapon to use against the Green Lantern Corps. He approaches Galactus and tells him of a planet with enough energy to sate his hunger forever. He leads Galactus back through the wormhole and directs him to Oa. Unbeknownst to any of them, the Silver Surfer observes this and follows them through the wormhole. Once in the DC Universe, the Surfer encounters Hal Jordan and after a brief confrontation, he explains to Hal why he is there. Suddenly, Hal receives an alert on his ring recalling all Green Lanterns to Oa to defend the planet. Hal and the Surfer arrive just in time for the battle. Who will prevail? The only way we'll ever know is if Marvel and DC ever do another crossover. If they do, I hereby give up all my rights to this story. I just beg them to let Chris do the art, because he absolutely killed this! Look at that detail! I thought the image I had in my head was good, but what he did is light-years beyond what I imagined!

I know exactly what you mean about a commission stuck idea in your head- waiting for the right artist to make it real.
