I am a huge fan of the HBO "Watchmen" series. Damon Lindelof threaded a very small needle the series as a whole stood alone but brilliantly incorporated the mythology that Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons crafted in their 1986 masterpiece. The TV series enriched the world and shared with many the sadly unknown true story of the Tulsa Massacre. Like the comic it is based on it is an incredibly dense experience which gladly encourages multiple viewings. I loved how they incorporated and created an origin of Hooded Justice aka Will Reeves. The episode “This Extraordinary Being” was one of the most powerful hours of television I have ever seen. I had long been a fan of Uko Smith, when I saw he was going to appear at Baltimore Comic Con I knew I needed to get a piece by him. I requested for Uko to create a piece of the Hooded Justice unmasked. In his costume with the makeup around his eyes. Uko created such a striking image that fits beautifully in my collection's theme of heroes unmasked.
