I have a great fondness for this series and the work of Al McWilliams. My collection has a fair amount of these pages. Not the most dynamic or sensational of the pages but Al McWilliams is under appreciated as one of the great artists of his time.

The attention to the hair and eyes is very well done.  He doesn't even draw the eyeballs in this, but they still have the power through that nice inkwork.  The eyelashes are so good in the last panel.
