This is the beginning of the sequence where Scrooge & Donald travel to the underworld (Tuonela) to retrieve the missing part of the Sampo. This page marks the first appearance of Death (Tuoni)…Disney comics don’t get much scarier than this… :-)
As far as I know this is the only Don Rosa (original art) story that is not lettered in English (some stories are not lettered at all), but in finish (by the original finish letterer). As it was first published in Finland and is based upon their national Epos, this seems only fitting.
