Keep that lasso of truth away from Archie. We may finally learn who he really picks.

:)  Personally, not that I've spent a lot of time thinking about this, but for all the characters involved I think Veronica would be the better choice.  Over time, as they mature into adults, I think Archie's compassionate nature would be a good influence on Veronica, and she, in turn, could help guide Archie away from his life as a directionless klutz.  Also, over most of the many decades since their creation in the comics, Archie and Veronica have had a romantic spark between them that seems to be missing between Archie and Betty.  Betty seems desperate for Archie's love, but her passion isn't reciprocated, and Betty deserves better than a lukewarm marriage.
