Disaster can only lie ahead -- to the advantage of this slapstick-laden story. The unbilled artist captures an essence of the absurdities essential to the comic-book version of Blondie (an alternate-reality takeoff on the classic Blondie comic strip), and the dialogue is brisk and chock-full of wordplay. Nicely paced, with a hilarious twist-ending punchline. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 9" x 13.5". Light toning. Adhesive stains and white-paint retouching on logotype area, with deteriorated title-lettering. Overall in Very Good condition.
