DescriptionI started to love R'n'R music after see BLACKBOARD JUNGLE ...During the titles of the movie was possible to hear "Rock Around the Clock performed by Bill Haley & The Comets ! I was fourteen.BLACKBOARD JUNGLE - Il SEME della VIOLENZA Blackboard Jungle is a 1955 American social drama film about teachers in an interracial inner-city school, based on the 1954 novel The Blackboard Jungle by Evan Hunter and adapted for the screen and directed by Richard Brooks. It is remembered for its innovative use of rock and roll in its soundtrack, for casting grown adults as high school teens, and for the unusual breakout role of a black cast member, future Oscar winner and star Sidney Poitier as a rebellious yet musically talented student. SIDNEY POITIER Sidney Poitier Miami, 20 febbraio 1927 – Los Angeles, 6 gennaio 2022- è stato un attore e regista statunitense con cittadinanza bahamense, primo attore afroamericano a vincere il Premio Oscar come miglior attore protagonista. Sidney was an incredible man and a giant in Hollywood. I loved everything he was and represented. Great piece!

I want remember to all the Sidney's fans that a dozen of years after , Sidney moved to the other side of the desk respect Blackboard Jungle, his role changed ... he was a teacher in the movie "To sir With Love" in a class of young people ... rebels ... as he was in the previous time .

... also in this second "school-movie" we have another nice soundtrack ... "To Sir With Love" sung by LULU, a beat English singer .

Poitier was groundbreaking and pioneering in taking on roles challenging the status quo. His characters defiantly broke down stereotypes and were presented with a noble humanity no matter the situation. This is a good painting Daddy-O.
