Description

Fantasia Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). Dreaming about his newly acquired powers, Mickey Mouse commands the stars with his hand motions at the 34:21 mark of the 1940 Disney classic movie Fantasia. Rendered full-figure in his Sorcerer's Apprentice outfit, Mickey measures 14x14cm (5.5" x 5.5"), done in graphite with yellow and green pencils on 30x25cm (12" x 10") field 5-peghole paper numbered 39 in the lower right (code 2004 - 7.0 - 33.1 in the lower left). It bears director notes to the right of the image. The animation drawing shows some toning and light handling wear from production use. The lot is in Very Good condition.

The drawing is on 12" field paper by Hammermill Product (Watermark "Management Bond A Hammermill Product").

Beautiful and charming Mickey Mouse in his most iconic role.
