Description

Tommy Castillo was a mainstay at comic conventions country-wide, and I frequently ran across him when I was going to numerous ones per year (from about 1999-2019). He had a towering booth with a carnival-like feel to it, at which he peddled his art and prints, and signed books for fans. In the early 2000s he took some photos of me for art reference and this piece was part of the compensation I received. He was a lot of fun to talk to, and though he passed away in 2017, his memory lives on through his artwork and his family, friends, and fans.
