Description

Watching a piece of comic art created LIVE on YouTube during the Pandemic was something that changed my "collecting" habits forever. Finch's Monday Night Draw series was eye-opening to my world of collecting, as I got to watch one of my favorite comic artists create comic art LIVE, an experience that was completely new to me.

This penciled drawing of Wolverine is what we see David create on this episode titled, "Art Study: Kevin Nowlan" from Finch's YouTube LiveStream called Monday Night Draw. Links to the YouTube episode can be found below.

Around this time, David also started to pick-up the Paint Brush, and started to paint pieces on a more regular basis. So he decided to use this Wolverine drawing to "practice" his painting skills, which the result of that practice is what you see here. Amazing!!! This piece was later published in David's KickStarter Art Book titled after his YouTube Series, Monday Night Draw: Season #1.

I was able to get this piece professionally framed (no Michaels) and I could not be happier with how it turned out.

Finch's paintings are out of this world! Rare, but always impressive when it's one of the characters he's well known for! It pops out of the frame with how Finch handles lighting with the paint brush.
