Description
An obscurity with nice cartooning and lots of period charm. Jim Pabian seems to have worked mostly as an animator (Tom & Jerry, among others), with some work on funny animal comics and the short-lived "Hollywood Johnnie," about a Hollywood talent agent. The gag is mild, but serviceable. A nice use of zip-a-tone; I especially like the outline-less figures in panel 2!

I think that's duo shade board.  Nicely done brushed on like inks to add that tonal depth.
