Description
Happy Birthday to Sean Phillips (1/27)!

Here's Ethan taking it to the baddies who lit the theater on fire as they prepare to snuff out our heroes. My favorite action scene in the book.

Thanks for taking a look!

Beauty! I really need to get off my butt and pull these books off my shelves. Cannot believe I haven't read them yet.

I own about 4000 comics at the present time, but I've only read about 2500 so far....you can imagine the stack on my nightstand.  However, I'm pretty diligent about reading anything new by this creative team, which is tough given how prolific they are.

Very nice. I really like the fast and loose, organic inking quality that comes off his brush. Did you buy the are for the entire series or something? 😉

No, I didn't get all the pages from this book --- I needed to save some cash for those super Perkins pages I picked up --- but I wouldn't mind having all the art from this story!  I guess I should have taken a job in finance...  I've got a couple more pages from DAM that I'll post over the next couple days (I'm hoping by posting slowly enough, I can prevent myself from buying more pages for a while...we'll see how that works.).

Lower left panel is really unique coming right at us with the foreshortening used with the bigger head and hand.

KKKRUNCH! Yeah, that nose is busted. Great fight page by Philips here. I dig how he handled the action and layout. It matches very well with his gritty but detailed style. And lettering on the page! Count me in as another person that needs to pick up this book. Cool page. Congrats!

Brubaker & Phillips are an incredible duo and just put out a ton of the good stuff. Great example of Sean's magic
