I won this on Ebay. Hallelujah.

A real Space Jam of the Greatest Tale of All Time by some of the Greatest Artists of All Time. This piece is a true Gem. Not to mention that Howard Chaykin, Rick Hoberg, and Steve Leialoha were part of the original artists team that worked on the Star War Marvel Comics Volume 1 Issues #1 - #6, which was the original Comic Adaption of A New Hope.

What really made me fall in love with this piece was the way Rick Hoberg drew Darth Vader, very strikingly similar to the way Issue #4 was drawn. Star Wars Issue #4 was the very first comic that I know I owned, but do not remember buying it as I was only 4 years old. It was in Spanish, "Las Guerras de Las Galaxias", and I am sure one of my parents bought it for me after I begged. I think I still have that original comic somewhere, beat to hell and all taped up which was the way I remember seeing it last, I just have to dig through long boxes to possibly find it. It's my only hope. I evetually bought the whole Marvel Star Wars Run (All first printings) and have them all bagged and boarded in a short box. I have to dig those up as well to re-read someday.

I'd add Michael Jordan, Lola Bunny, and Notorious P.I.G., but Luke and the droids sound about right.
