Nice mashup of genres. I'm not sure it was wise as Toy collecting audiences don't know anything about Katzenjammer Kids. Might as well have just called it Thundercats kids. Cool cartooning by Dunlavey to give us a twisted ending!

Couldn;t have called it Thundercat Kids, Master Marcus, because I think there were already Thundercat kids in the series (one was named Kit, i remember).
Even we shouldn't remember them as they predate Howdy Dooty, but German was my first language so of course I was exposed.
