DescriptionPublished 1998The heroes from 2999 form the Justice Alliance. Superman XIX [Klar Ken 5477], Supergirl [Kara Ken 5477], The Bat ; Robin , Aquaman, Green Lantern of Sector 2814, Hawkman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, Green Arrow, Big Barda, Starman and other unnamed heroes. Interestingly, the obelisk behind them has a 'L' symbol that is very similar to the Legion of Super-Heroes symbol. In this storyline the symbol probably stands for Luthor as in Lena Luthor, Lex's descendant. Social/Sharing |

OF course, only a Legion of Super-Heroes fanatic would've been the first collector to get their hands on a Superman splash featuring versions of tons of DC heroes fro mthe far off future. Some pieces are just meant to end up in certain collections!

Rows and flows of Legionnaires
And Wonder Woman in the air
And Justice Alliance everywhere
Looked so proud that day
But now they only block the sun
They reign and guano on everyone
So many things Ryan would have done
But March 7, he passed away
I've pronounced Cowan from both sides now
Cohen Cowin and still somehow
It's sound illusions I recall
I really can't say it... at all
Green Lanterns Air Ferris wheels
Joe's brushy inking way you feel
As future fairy tale comes real
I've looked at art that way
But now on to another show
And you bought the artwork when you go
And if you care, just let us know
Go post on CAF today
Dominus Effect from four sides now
From give and take and still somehow
It's Ryans' illusions that I recall
I really don't know love...at all

Makes me recall the beautiful scene where Don Draper first shows his children his long-secret childhood collection of beaten up old comics.
