It is my pleasure to bring the Godfather of Canadian Rap to you, George. That song was MASSIVE over here in 1989 and he became the first Platinum selling Rap/Hip Hop artist in Canada. To give you some perspective on how difficult it is to go Platinum in Canada, keep in mind that right now the entire population is around 38 Million and was only around 27 Million in '89. He laid the groundwork and paved the way for artists like Drake.
