Pearl (2018) #9, pps.12-13

I've yet to read the book but what a HAUNTING piece. Definitely one for the bedroom (of the children?).

Gothic dream sequence.  Have never seen that velvety texture done so well.  The skull has a strikingly human expression -- our artist didn't deign to for the "typical" look, instead aiming for perfection and reaching it in my book.  Even the girl seems a pensive ghost here.  In awe over this one, my man!

Well look, I've never even heard of this book but I AM a lover of skulls and skeletons in illustration so you already had me by the throat there! The way his body parts go in and out of the darkness is a really nice effect and I love that he seemes to have used up an entire bottle of India ink for this double page splash alone!

This is eerily breathtaking.  Gaydos is one of those artists who is in a class by himself.

Make no bones about it, this dps stuns the mind!

This creepy splash page is for all of us who fear the things that go bump in the night.

Not familiar with the title, but this dps captures the eerily feels perfect
