The unflinching and unrelenting savagery of battle. This feels to me like the comic book page equivalent of that point _almost_ at the end of the cacophonous orchestral swell in The Beatles' "A Day In The Life", as things start to spin crazily right before the crashing piano chord at the end. An unbelievable swirl of fury here. Incredible.
I don't know which I like better, the artwork or your well thoughtout comments. ;-)
