Description

This is the 1st (and maybe the only) cover recreation Dave Cockrum did for X-men #100. Mr. Cockrum told me the original cover art to issue #100 was done in many pieces, because the original character line-up drawn for the front cover was changed. Some characters were cut out, and others pasted in place. It is doubtful all the pieces will ever surface, and even if they did the original cover art...even in pieces...would be 40k or more. This is personalized on the back by Dave Cockrum with a Nightcrawler "BAMF" and a note from Dave stating this is the 1st ever X-men #100 cover recreation he ever did. Everything is drawn...no stats of any kind. The detail is amazing, and this is truly a one-of-a-kind piece. Rest in peace Dave.
