What did I do? It has been a while since I last read this title, so I can't say I remember this sequence. But I got to think Walker was a bit surprised by Pilgrim's action. Great sequence.

Dynamite! It is such a thrill to see these early Powers pages, Charley - thanks very much for posting them. A great moment from early on, left shadowless on that top panel to maximize the "flash" and shock of the moment. Those shadows close back in around everything in the last two panels to being things back to earth. LOVE the POV and frozen foot in the air in panel two, along with Christian's anger (and Deena's shock in panel 3). Fantastic storytelling through the beautiful artwork. Great page, Charley!
