Sandman #50 p23 - 2022 recreation

P Craig Russell recreated this page from Sandman #50 in 2022. I believe he's potentially going to do one recreation of each page, as part of the rewards for his Kickstarter campaigns.

One of my favourite pages from this book!

The recreation has embellished detail in the backgrounds of the city, which was sort of what I was hoping for, as I think it gives the main image a bit more depth. It's extremely subtle, but the extension of the sun's rays into the panel of Haroun Al Rashid ties those panels together a bit more as well.

Thanks to Wayne Alan Harold for helping to facilitate this - always wanted a page from this book, and this is probably as close as I'm likely to get!
