Thirty-One days of Star Wars continues... now onward to 45 days in honor of the 45th anniversary of the original film’s release!"Like A Bantha" refers to dialogue in a scene from the second episode of the Star Wars Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett. Boba Fett (played by Temuera Morrison) tries to teach a group of Tusken Raiders how to ride a speeder bike, comparing driving it to riding a bantha. Or so everyone thinks. What he really said was "Buy it with the Banthas" clearly in reference to this splash page full of the shaggy critters. Tem knows his stuff, so I dutifully bought it. Hope you all enjoy this! Now go! These Banthas are some seriously ugly sumbitches, though beautifully penciled by Wilton! I wonder if they double as Santa's Banthas during Christmas in the Star Wars Universe....

I feel a new Star Wars holiday short story coming on. Tusken Raiders turning their Banthas loose every Christmas Eve to deliver chapstick to all of the good little Lukes, Biggs, Cammies, and Fixers, all across Tattooine.

Bring a bed roll, couple of good ropes, mastiff if ya got one. You'll get the best food in the territory, no rest, damn little sleep. I'll make a bantha herder out of you yet Jeffrey.
