DescriptionThis is the May. Day 11. Thirty-One days of Star Wars continues...Last page I'll be uploading from issue 32. Vulaada Klam, is known as Vu to her friends. Having lost her parents, that is a short list consisting of Chelli Aphra (sorta) and Vu's pet qaberworm - Gurtyl. After leaving Gurtyl behind for the artifact snatching trip to the shrine from my last two posts, Vu is trying to engage her in a game of fetch. Meanwhile, Chelli is apologizing for her "unresolved maternal issues" that make her not the best role model in their friendship. A real character relationship building page, ironic for the character. Having gone through a difficult childhood, Aphra was fairly detached from other people and was primarily concerned with her own needs and self-preservation. Yet each of her major story arcs have seen her feel compelled to assist others, bond with them, and then eventually push them away. Lot's of room for world building when you aren't constrained by events in the films. I think our two Chihuahuas might be okay with a backyard qaberworm. Maybe. Social/Sharing |

You know I like me some Thies brush stylings, but right now at least, I like Wilton's stuff the best.

Well, tomorrow I plan to take it across the Atlantic pond for a different artist. But we'll be seeing Wilton's work again soon.

The first Doctor Aphra series was pretty great from start to finish. It's fun seeing the pages you've posted over the past few days.
