Description

I was fortunate to buy this splash several years ago at one of the NJ original comic art shows. This splash page screamed to me to buy it when I saw it in the gentleman's portfolio. We did the deal outside of the room away from prying eyes, and I walked away with a nice early Spider-Man villain example from one of the more under-rated artists in Marvel's bullpen back in the mid 1980s.

Of course, you can also make your Forest Gump jokes here as well.

Great title splash, PR! Really like the Vulture's cackling trimphant expression, and that title lettering really makes the page. Congrats!

Beautiful splash of the Vulture escaping prison! Check out the expression on Vulture's face as he flies off into the sky! Very cool. Love to see a bigger scan!
