DescriptionMeriem swings an injured man and his child to safety from a stampede of Styracosaurs. Also, when she tells everyone to hide from oncoming “tornadoes,” she isn’t being metaphorical: cyclones are about to hit the beleaguered town along with the dinosaurs! Someone cut the bottom and top borders off the page but the art is unaffected and looks beautiful. Published 1996.Social/Sharing |

one day i hope to get a Budd Root. as every page he draws is just perfect cheesecake. the bottom panel is a home run. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful indie charm of Budd Root's artwork gives bricks, cheescake, and dinosaurs plus great story timing! We get the fine final grand payoff image with a panel breaking pose that somehow features both top and bottom of Meriem against the super detailed dinos!

Thanks! I wanted a page from either of the first two series, where it was still a dinosaur/monster story and not just pure cheesecake. I think I got lucky with this one, since it has Meriem, and dinosaurs, and townspeople in danger.
