Paco Baidal, Conan the Barbarian Pin-Up with Slave Girl and Demon Warrior

I’ve been after a Conan piece for awhile. I needed it to have Conan, a damsel, and a monster, so this one hit all of those beats nicely. And that inking is just insane.

With this piece, my original mission for collecting art is drawing to a close. I started buying it to admire as a proxy for comics I no longer had time to read, between work and family. My collection now represents most of my favorite comics characters, series, genres, and artists. Because of this site, though, I’ve learned to appreciate the art as art, so I’ll likely continue collecting along those lines.
