DescriptionA wonderful prelim from the legendary Frank Thorne! I was lucky enough to get two of these tiny (maybe 5x7) prelims and I love them. You can still make out the style of Thorne and get a feel for what the page is going to be, which I think is great. Marvel Feature is the first series where Red Sonja took the spotlight, predating her independent series, with #7 being the final issue of the run. Thorne first drew Red Sonja in issue 2, so this is early in his career with her! Very happy to have these in my collection.This page does say 7 on the bottom, but was actually published on page 11 (need to double check my copy to be sure, will update when I know!) The close up is powerful with her stare being darkened over everything on this page! It's like multiple classic Thorne sketches in one and then some as they all work together in story!
