Sideral - Page 36 Epee du Rhiannon

Okay, I got this on a whim from Heritage just because I hadn't gotten any art in a while and I was missing getting a new piece. This seemed interesting enough. It is from the 70s or 80s. It is from a French SF anthology series, Sideral. All of this was some guess work and conjecture. But what I do know is that this is a page from an adaptation of a Leigh Brackett novel. Sword of Rhiannon is considered by many to one of the best science fantasy novels. Leigh Bracket was an awesome writer. Her work inspired a lot of Star Wars. She contributed to the Empire Strikes Back screenplay right before she died. Earlier in life, she and William Faulkner wrote the screenplay for the Big Sleep. This author has cred. And to have a page based on her work, coming from France, seems kind of terrific. It makes me want to get more "Based on the Novel" pages.
