Somehow, this is untold kitchen confidential tales from Bourdain. Foss makes them look like mythical beings in an eternal conflict.
It's interesting to me how the "bones" of "Yojimbo" have been used as a creative springboard for different comic series (off the top of my head, this series, Corben's Luke Cage min-series, Bisley & Eastman's Fistful of Blood...). Bourdain & Foss bring their own unique experiences to build up the (sticking with the metaphor) "muscular structure" of Get Jiro to create a new experience for the reader.
