Description

I recreated this classic George P�rez pin up which was a ton of work. Each star on the original was drawn individually, so I recreated it the same way. Thank you to Ted Latner who owns the original penciled piece and provided me with a hi-res scan to work from. This one was interesting to work on since the original was never inked, and I worked from George's pencils and had decisions to make. 11x17" on Cougar Paper. My continued thoughts and prayers go out to George P�rez. Much love and respect.

With such an intense work laid out by Perez, no doubt that different lineweights had to be considered for the various levels of depth in this piece. A great tribute to one of the greats!

Beautiful recreation of a classic cover! Love Perez's design here, with the headshot of the GOTG team juxtaposed against the space station. Nice work, Rich!
