Supergirl Prelim 04

Good evening, Champions. Here we have the latest progress on Supergirl cosplay portrait. I tried a minimalist approach with her hair and it seemed to have worked. I used a combination of Copics E41, E42, and E43 to get that shade of blonde, and Prismacolor Verethin Gold and black colored pencils for the softer refined areas, and finally 0.003 and 0.005 LePens Drawing graphic pens for a minimum amount of black lines. I've also begun the cape rendering with R05, R24, and R27. Overall this sketch finally feels like it's coming alive. Kara Zor-El feels like a flesh and blood person now. I hope my client is satisfied with the results so far. More as it develops.
