Let's say "farewelL" to April 2022 with one more animation cel featuring April O'Neil!

From the third season Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Fred Wolf Films) episode "Enter the Rat King," here's a great full-body image of Rat King carrying off a captured April O'Neil to his sewer lair.

This is a painted acetate cel layered over background print. In this case, the supplied background is much different than the episode context, making it look like the Rat King is carrying April into a lake at sunset like the Creature from the Black Lagoon!

These cels were sold framed in mats and protective plastic sleeves at various toy and department stores throughout the early 1990s under the "Animation Art" label. This cel was scanned inside the sealed plastic sleeve, so the image clarity suffers a bit. Included here is an episode screencap showing the cel in its final form around the 6 minute, 52 second mark of the VUDU digital copy.

It's kind of a special and specific image cel with April in bondage like this. The image in the show may not be as strong as it is here as we have more time to register what is happening.
