DescriptionFrom Heritage where I won this auction.Al McWilliams Dateline: Danger Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 7-2-72 (Field Enterprises, 1972). Suspense and tensions abound in this beautifully designed composition, featuring McWilliams' magnificent facial studies -- mostly close-ups. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20.25" x 13.75". The board has been scored and creased between tiers to allow mailing to and from the syndicate. The paste-up stat logo is slightly loose, there is marginal toning and/or smudging, and soft corner bends. ============================================================= Al McWilliams has become one of my favorite artist and I absolutely love his work here and on Twin Earths.
