Description
Alright, so things are getting serious now. I can't contain my excitement with this page. I have been a fan of Adam Warlock for a bit now, but sadly didn't have a piece with him in it. This page changes everything. I am thrilled with the bottom panel, which really captures the essence of the character for me. This page also includes Gamora and Cardinal Arokine of The Universal Church of Truth. It's kind of interesting to have this representation of Gamora with short hair in contrast to the other page with the long hair that I recently posted. I am so happy to say that this checks yet another comic art collecting goal of mine.

I may have stated this a time or two before, but I was a late bloomer when it came to comics. I never really got into them until the MCU movies. After watching some of the early movies I decided to pick up the Infinity Gauntlet and Silver Surfer comics, as well as a boatload of crossovers. This then led me backwards to the Cosmic Cube and early Adam Warlock books. Sadly, I no longer own a lot of the comics I had picked up, but that is a sore subject for another day. This was also somehow connected to my collecting of Jim Starlin Portfolios, which was the result of finding an easter egg in a Silver Surfer Comic. This may have been the impetus that drove me into comic art collecting. I connect all of this cosmic stuff into what really connects me with comics and here I am checking one of my boxes off with this piece. I am thrilled, ecstatic, and have found sheer jubilation in the fact that I now own this piece. I would like to thank my good friend Matt for introducing me to this comic series. It still is one of my favorite reads to this day and amazingly enough, I now have a decent collection of art from this series.

Great depiction of Gamora, but that bottom panel of Warlock really elevates the page to the next level.

More than decent.  Nothing short of spectacular!  The stare is real intense.

Yes, the bottom panel stare is the showstopper!
