She's a straight-up BAWWSSSSS and I love the way she's written in the current books too - a massive thorn in the side of Prof and Magneto :)

Cool. I have not read anything with her for at least 12 years, so I don't know what's going on with her. The question though, is she a thorn in their sides in general terms because she just "likes to do things her way" as a hero, or is it because she's back to being a villain again?

She's a loyal citizen of Krakoa (new mutant homeland) and part of the Quiet Council (governing body) but as she finds out about a betrayal from Charles and Erik, she's determined to burn it to the ground. There's more complexity to it but don't wanna spoil the storyline for anyone else that may be reading this. The difference in the way she's written now is that she's the same character and trying to choose a better path but her refusal to take shit from anyone puts her in a situation we could all be sympathetic to. No mustache-twirling villainy here. She's hasn't been written this well in years IMO.
