I saw Tess post a mini-version of this on Twitter, but I was having a busy day and it went real quick. I responded to the tweet and she messaged me right back, but I had messages blocked on Twitter unbeknownst to me. Tess proceeded to follow me on Twitter so I would get the message and then told me she wasn't open for commissions. Damn.

But then she basically said she had some free time that afternoon so why not. We worked out the price (a bit high for me) and the details (very generous on her part) and by the time I sent her payment, she had the first sketch to show me. I went to sleep that night and she kept sending me progress pics! By the next day it was done and it was fantastic. A really stellar commission experience from a really cool artist.
