Description

Sooo- I really dug the Wolverine Black White and Blood Series. It was a fun anthology series that had short stories all around wolverine at different points in time. For a life long fan - it was a fun trip down memory lane to the time period of each one. This one from Issue 4 focused on the time the X-men were in the outback ( a favorite period of mine) and wolverine fighting the reavers.. but there was something even more interesting for me� there was a three page sequence where Logan gets attacked by sharks! Besides comic art I also keep large aquariums and have always been fascinated by sharks in particular.. so these pages immediately struck me. I tried to reach out directly to Leonard Kirk with no luck� I reached out to his �rep� Spencer� he didn�t have them. So I thought I was SOL.. but chatting with a friend up in Canada he told me Leonard would be attending a free comic day event at the Comic shop he goes to.. he agreed to check for me. And amazingly Leonard still had all 3 of the pages!! Thank you Jeff for facilitating for me! Friends mean everything in this hobby!

The clues are adding up. Sharks and underwater action of a guy that has a 3 pronged attack means .... you're a secret fan of Aquaman with his Poseidon scepter! Say it ain't so, say it ain't so...

I didn't realize how well Wolverine pairs with sharks. Excellent page. Awesome to hear that you got all three pages.

A bigger boat? Nah, you're gonna need a bigger shark. I see a Jaws Marvel crossover, Marvel. I hadn't read this series, but it sounds very cool. And I love the scene that you posted. Out of the frying pan and into the fire, indeed. Very cool score. Congrats!
