Killer piece! Love Phil's mix of cartoony style with realistic rendering. And Grundy is one of my favorite DC bads. Congrats!
What a fantastic Solomon Grundy piece, Octavio! I love Jiménez, but I have to admit that when I spotted the thumbnail, I thought Gary Frank did this!. In fact, even now that I see it at full size, it still looks more like Gary Frank's work to me. That's wild!
Ruben, you are right it does look like a frank piece.
The play of where the suit jacket arms blend into the contained rectangle of woods behind him is nice graphic design. His head sticking above it has all his fury in full focus.
I've always loved Grundy. Great pick up!
