Description

What can I say? This is an incredibly imaginative interpretation and very possibly the first time Paul has drawn this character. Happy to have gotten it!

Tars Tarkas is a Green Martian Thark with an unusual amount of compassion and sympathy that does not otherwise exist in his race. He becomes an ally of John Carter, partially due to John Carter hearing the story of Gozava, his only love, and the daughter he had with his her.

Very nice pickup! It looks like there was extra effort to make this fully finished to put his stamp on a character he may not get to revisit.
