Description

Published 1971.
The Legion had been relegated to back up status in Action Comics in 1969 starting with Action Comics 378.
That ended in Action Comics 392 in 1970.
Thereafter the Legion appeared irregularly as back up stories in Superboy.
They appeared in Superboy 172, 173, 176, 183, 184, 188, 190, 191, 193 and 195 before taking over in Superboy 197.
This then is their third appearance in Superboy.

That this is pure Tuska art is interesting and surprising to me, as the first panel had me thinking Colletta had inked this.

Great looking page !! Except for some Golden Age art, I haven't seen a lot of Tuska doing pencils and inks. This shows he still had some serious pencilling and inking chops.
