Description

I'm a big fan of Frank Herbert's Dune and the original sequels up to and including God Emperor. Not so much the Brian Herbert prequels, although there were some good ideas here and there. Haven't read these Boom! comics yet, but the cover for issue 7 instantly caught my eye. I don't recall much about Paul's life on Caladan before going to Arrakis, but looks like he did some free diving, perhaps harvesting abalone or sea urchin along with some kind of glowing rocks. Love the colors and the strange underwater creatures. (Turns out it's actually Paul's father Leto) Purchased during Comic Art Live in late May 2022.

Very nice effect of the light penetrating the water and reflecting off his dive suit.
