Green Lantern/Green Arrow O'Neil and Adams Tribute Prelim 03

Good evening, Champions. As you can see I've begun to flesh out the construct imagery, especially channeling nostalgia. Cocreator Neal Adams used actor Sidney Poitier as a reference when he designed John Stewart, so I felt that was the best way I could tie that in to this tribute to both he and Denny O'Neil. Speaking of, I threw in a subtle tribute message on the inside of the baseball glove holding Oliver Queen as he's taking aim. Admittedly I have to work on the arm drawing back his bow, and may have to wish his other arm. It depends on how much the human body is able to twist and turn, so I'll be using my own body for this development. I've also started to outline both the frame and the underlying night sky in between the construct imagery. As I have probably mentioned before, I will do a very loose and light inking of these milestone moments. When I move to the coloring stage, I will add color in a way that distinguishes them from the central, present figures of Green Lantern and Green Arrow. I'm really enjoying myself with this project and how it's turning out. More as it develops.
